Quest 2010 Long Hollow
by Stan on Feb.27, 2010, under Faith, lhbc
Last night was the second day of Quest at Long Hollow Baptist. For those of you that are asking what is Quest, it is a four-day three-night youth (middle and high school age students) revival/conference that is hosted by LHBC. Youth from all over middle TN come and spend the days and nights worshiping, witnessing and just having a great time in the Lord. Last night a great crowd was treated with praise from Glory Revealed and a great message. Many youth came forward as a public witness that they were accepting Christ as their personal savoir. Here are some images from last night at Quest.
The doors open and the energy level went through the roof!

ALL IN! Today at Long Hollow
by Stan on Feb.21, 2010, under Faith, lhbc
We started a new sermon series at Long Hollow Baptist Church Today. Praise and worship was awesome (we are so spoiled by such talented people). People were hustling about. Brother David mixed up all the ingredients and cooked a batch of great sugar cookies! People took notes and were basically blessed. I Love our church! If you are looking for a church or interested in learning about Jesus and what he can do for you, come join us, check out www.longhollow.com

COME VISIT!
A Valentine Wedding!
by Stan on Feb.18, 2010, under weddings
Sunday was February 14th, Valentines Day and Brittney and Mathew’s Wedding day! A few months ago when Brittney and Mathew booked us for their wedding, they explained it was going to be a winter wedding in the pavilion at Hermitage Golf Course, by the fireplace and they were hoping for snow. Valentines day came, snow was in the forecast and we all hoped for some flurries. The snow didn’t come until Monday, but the couple had a beautiful candle-lit fireside, romantic winter wedding. We want to thank Brittney and Mathew for choosing us to photograph their Valentines Day! Here is a preview of the day’s images.
Shout outs to:
The Hermitage Golf Course and their staff
The White Room of Lebanon – The Brides Gown.
Enchanted Florist.
Brittney’s Grandmother for letting me redecorate her bedroom for shots!

Valentine Date…PF Changs and Ice Skating!
by Stan on Feb.15, 2010, under Stan Stuff
Allen, Henry, Chris, Sid and myself planned a Valentine date for our wives; Mitzi, Holly, Diane, Julie and Julie. We decided to have a group date on Saturday the 13th beginning with dinner at PF Changs, then Ice Skating at the Sportsplex. Dinner was great but I still do not know how Chris ate the entire Great Wall of Chocolate! The ice-skating was… well with two knee surgeries in my past I skipped the blades and stuck to photographing the event, but as you can see below the rest enjoyed the ice! Beside bruised egos the injuries were minor; Julie Woodruff has a sore shoulder after a fall she took to keep from skating over someone’s fingers, Mitzi a cut wrist from being taken out by a Kamikaze stranger, and Henry has a bruised cheek from trying to show off!
Chris and Diane after the Great Wall of Chocolate!

Reading Fortune Cookies, except Allen, he is checking out his bill!

Henry, showing off!

Diane holding up my wife and Holly… footloose and fancy free!

Sid coming in.

Speed racing

Diane still holding my wife.

Chris Cruzin

Allen’s thinking… OK I got my skates on, am I really gonna do this!

Mitzi taking his hand…

…off they go!

These next two are not of the Kamikaze that took out Mitzi!

The guy in the tan jacket, that is the Kamikaze, Mitzi is the blonde on the ice in front of him!

Diane picking herself up after… well she fell (or did Allen trip her)!

Allen’s group shot of the girls, then mine.

How come these Floridians skate so good?

We had a good time and I think everyone is not to sore!
It’s Cold but we have flowers
by Stan on Feb.10, 2010, under weddings
As I was processing some wedding photographs when the outside temperature was below zero, I had an idea to post some images from some warm weddings. I love photographing weddings and I try to have fun in every detail of the images I shoot. Enjoy the beautiful flowers. You can view more at www.sdphotographs.com.

Wedding Packages for 2010
by Stan on Feb.08, 2010, under bridals, engagement, weddings
I have finally finished our Wedding Packages for 2010. When I started this process I set out to simplify the packages, structure them so that couples could choose a package and options that fit their budget yet still enable them to have wonderful photographic memories of their engagement and wedding.
You will notice that two of our three packages include either an enagagement or bridal session or both; the reason for that is simple, we want to get to know the couple before their wedding day. Engagement and Bridals allow us time before the wedding to work with the bride and groom in a relaxed atmosphere, with out interruptions and the time constraits that are a part of every Wedding Day. To review our galleries and see the package information go to www.sdphotographs.com.

Sledding…family, friends and some other people on the hill!
by Stan on Feb.01, 2010, under Stan Stuff
Yesterday me, Julie, Lindsey and Chase went driving looking for a hill to do a little sledding. Maybe I should say a little hill to do some sledding! We found one on New Shackle Island and had a blast. Lindsey and Chase called their friends Brandon and Carissa (and their 2 year old son). Of course I had my camera, below are some of the images. I also photographed some people we shared the hill with but didn’t get their names.
We used the old fashion kind…

This father snow plowed his child!

Carissa looks terrified!

Addison is not sure about Brandon’s driving.

Face plant, he was ok!

Lindsey & Chase went head first into the bank.

He was flying.

Little Hill Big Fun!
