Hi I am Stan Dunlap and here is a few words about me. I am a Husband, I have been married to my wife Julie for 45 years. I am a father of one son, twin daughters, and a grandfather of five (3 boys and 2 girls).

I have been interested in photography since I took my first photography class in the last semester of my senior year of college. Several years later I still did not own a camera, but I loved the art of photography. Julie gave me my first SLR, a Nikon FE, as a wedding gift in 1980.

Since then I have studied the craft of photography and the art of lighting, by reading, taking classes, seminars, the internet and above all else, just shooting and shooting.

Throughout the years I have photographed everything from landscapes to weddings, television shows, including events and entertainers, amateur and professional sports, plus everything in between. After experiencing different types of photography I discovered that I received the most enjoyment from creating images of places (landscapes), wildlife and sports (including the athletes themselves).  I believe the reason has something to do with the challenge of creating images that move me, of things that interest me, and I love the outdoors and sports. If you enjoy my work and wish to purchase each gallery contains a link of the current images that are available for purchase. I have various sizes, framed and unframed and different mediums. If you are interested in the sport portraits or team sessions you will find more information under the Pricing tab.

I appreciate you stopping by, feel free to email me your comments. I hope you enjoy my work!
